Eco Farm Mammals
Actually, I think because if the short duration of my stay, I missed most of the mammals. I noticed mostly the peccaries. (Pecs for short - aren't those the things we try to build up through bench presses? :-D - Kidding! I am kidding). |
Why, it's little Maria, daintily stepping onto the walkway, before approaching the guests to beg for food. |
A harsh Brazilian life for the Peccaries here at the farm. They had to dig their own little snooze beds |
This should be grouped in with birds, right? I don't have a naked sheep category. |
There were a number of these around and also horses. Someone said he saw large walking birds. They do exist here, but I only saw them but fleetingly from the bus |
As we were walking back from some point of our drive, through the mosquito-infested jungle right outside of the eco farm, our guide noticed monkey. These were a really shy bunch and this is the best shot I got of them. A mother and her child. You can just see her watch us from between some leafs, while the baby peeks over the branch. The trees were very tall here and I used my tele lens. |
